Earlier this month the Korean F4 for Hana Yori Dango aka Boys Over Flowers was revealed. In 2001 Taiwan has made this popular manga/anime (following the Japanese Version) into a drama with the title, Meteor Garden starring Taiwanese Idol Group F4.
The Korean version will be starring, (From Left to Right) Lee Min Ho as F4 leader Tsukasa, Kim Hyun Joong (Pop Idol from SS501) as Rui, Kim Joon as Akira (From Group T-Max), and Kim Bum (East of Eden) as Soujirou.
The Taiwanese male leading roles with the same name for their group as the “gangs” in Meteor Garden starring, (From Left to Right) Jerry Yan as F4 leader Tsukasa, Vanness Wu as Akira, Ken Zhu as Soujirou, and Vic Zhou as Rui.
Personally, I have not seen Meteor Garden. I wasn’t into F4 then and still am not now. I’m going to keep it up at a starting point and watch the Korean Version. Only because of Kim Hyun Joong. I absolutely love him in WGM!
If you had your pick as to who would be the cast of a future or upcoming Thai version (like it’ll happen) of Hana Yori Dango, who would you choose or want to be in the roles?
My pick of the guys with these line up would be Louis Scott as Akira (a madam killer with ties to the underground and with the least speaking role), Mario Maurer as Soujirou (a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school), (I can’t believe I’m doing this!) Todd Sina as Rui (the introverted son of a large company) , and as the F4 leader, Peck Premanant Suwananon (the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group.)
But what can I do when the cast for the Thai F4 has already been picked! Waaaaaa!! They are even hotter then the choices that I’ve picked!

hahaha, the mv is hilarious. willy is so funny. But i think the taiwanese F4 is hot. they were like my favs from a period of time. I loved Vic Zhou. and Jerry was a cutie. I think Louis is a good replacement for Vanness and i think the new actor Son can so play vanness’s role. As for Jerry i would say Ken Theeredej. He seems to be the leader type of actor.

as the two main ones are very strong ..
the korean and japanese’s RUI are just way off in the look department … actually they looked pretty similar..in some angles.. and the koreans went and found a jerry look-alike..a copy cat..haha… but jerry is way hotter as his features are beautifully put together..but the way he acted as Domyoji mirrors alot of jerry’s ways as domyoji …expressions…lol
they even used the main song fr the tw’s verision, except it’s in korean…
but somehow i feel korean version is better than japanese…with the jp’s i just couldn’t watch it … i tried…but something is missing..despite of the bigger budget and also the setting is in japan (same as manga)…
