Pae Arak Says Thai Girls Are Much More Beautiful Than Laotian Girls

Actor “Pae” Arak is becoming more popular these days with so many movie roles under his belt. Soon, he will be off to Laos to film the sequel to “Sabai Dee Luang Pra Bang”.
Pae was asked if his girlfriend is afraid that he might fall for the charms of Laotian girls while he is over there. The rising actor says that will not be a problem because Thai girls are much more beautiful.
Part one of this movie featured Ananda Everingham and Pae clarified that “I will not be replacing Ananda, I’m playing a different role. I wouldn’t dare to replace him”
“The story is about a Thai person who gets married in Laos, the Nang Aek will be the same person but the Pra Aek will change in every sequel. I will be going over there 4th August and then come back 20th August. I don’t need to learn Laotian, just have to read the script a lot”

Absolute Idiot. In every race, regardless, there’s a thing called diversity. There are some that are drop dead gorgeous while some aren’t too attractive. Even if Pae did apologize later on, it can’t erase the racism out of his heart. I’m sorry, on the surface, it may seem like a petty comment about beauty but deeper, he’s degrading Laotians. I’m not Laotian and even I can see that.
It’s a pity, Thai celebrities have not learned how to stop being racist against other neighboring countries while they pour their hearts and souls into accommodating Korean, Chinese, and American stars. I’m Thai and sad to say, yes, I admit, the majority of Thai people who grew up in the culture are very patriotic but there’s a difference between patriotic, being proud of one’s country, history, and accomplishments versus straight racism. And clearly, Pae is a racist.
As for supporters of Pae’s comments, I wouldn’t appreciate it either if the Koreans called Thai women ugly because that’s not true. So please people, have respect for one another even if you think that country or person is lower than you, everyone is the same in the end.
