Khun Dang Prepares To Promote New Stars

In the past channel 7 has been bombarded with many scandalous rumours from Weir’s drunkenness to Pu Praiya’s love scenes with random men. The latest is Nok Aussanee’s leaking pictures in a bikini.

The best selling stars of channel 7 such as “Noon” Warrunuch and “Poh” Nuttawuth are in line to get married following the footsteps of beloved star “Kob” Suvanant, leaving channel 7 at a loss. What’s Khun Dang to do? According to rumours, Khun Dang is preparing to sell her shares and make a run for it.

Khun Dang clarifies news on behalf of her scandalous stars on Manager

“Weir Skollwat, about his drunkenness and parking his car in the middle of the road, that was a mistake and I feel sorry for him. I told him not to let it happen again because he is a leading actor and he needs to have a good image. But honestly he did the right thing by not drinking and driving. But I told him drinking to the point where you totally lose yourself is not good. If possible, if he wants to drink he shouldn’t leave the house, sleep over at your friend’s house if you want to drink there”

“I don’t forbid him from drinking but he needs to take responsibility for himself. There’s got to be a limit, as for how I should punish him if he shall do this again, I don’t think I will need to because society will be the one to punish him. He knows that, I even told him his fans won’t be able to take it and it could take him back to zero again. Pancake agreed with me, she said ‘you’re absolutely right ka’ (laughs)”

“As for Nok and her photos from her old portfolio. On this, I will have to judge base on why it was leaked. We shouldn’t punish her, as for Pu, ever since she got back she is becoming more mature and hardworking. People change and when she gets older she will think more. As for her leaking pictures, I’m just going to leave it up to her, she told me white people have different customs and I told her just be careful and it’s not like she was serious with those foreigners either”

Aside from that there’s news that many of your stars are about to leave such as Pinky and Aump Patcharapa?

“You will have to go and ask her but it doesn’t look like she’s going anywhere. You guys are just writing news about it but her contract hasn’t expired yet. As for Pinky, her contract will expire next you and I have spoken to her about it but I’m not pressuring her. I want her to be happy and she will probably renew her contract and right now we’re letting her work in bollywood”

In regards to Noon Warrnuch and Poh Nuttawuth getting married and whether or not this will impact their future work, Khun Dang says in future she will need to choose roles that are more suitable to their age

“As for Kob Suvanant, I will have to leave it up to the master (laughs) up to her, if she doesn’t want to act how can I be mad at her. It’s her choice, she is married and has a family now. I will probably have to find something else suitable for her. She’s older now and she wants to choose her roles so I think it’s okay, she will choose to play what’s suitable for her age”

Despite all the scandals Khun Dang confirms, their ratings are still high.

“Our ratings right now are very high, generally good. I hear channel 3 is complaining but I don’t mind. When our ratings didn’t do well we didn’t complain, it’s not like we’ve never had bad ratings”

“Of course we don’t want to have low ratings. We don’t like to have ratings in the one digit number. It’s the rule, we try to maintain our ratings in the two digit number”

“In the past we try to improve, figuring out what the viewers liked and didn’t like. Whatever they didn’t like we try to improve on it. Lately you will see that there’s a lot of newcomers in the channel. Our new policy is 50:50, we bring in 50% newcomers, otherwise it will be too boring, we need new people”

Apparently you’re planning to sell your shares?

“No I’m not, why will I sell it. My parents gave me these shares and I’m keeping it. I heard people are saying Khun Prawit should come and shop here because I’m not happy. But I’m not a product you know, nowadays when you hear rumours you need to listen with one ear because some people make things up”
