Kob & Brook: The Press Conference

Kob Suvanant Kongying and Brook Danupong finally came out to confirm rumors about their wedding which is now no longer a rumor. The wedding ceremony will be held on the 9^th January 2009.

The couple attended their press conference with a very cheerful demeanor in front of over one hundred lives of reporters and fans waiting to hear what they have to say.

Brook: Thank you to all the press, I’m happy because as I have said, whenever there’s an update I will be the one to let you know myself. But some how the processes got mixed up but I have spoken to my family about it. I wanted to organize the wedding first and then tell the family, then after that I was going to hold the press conference. However, it turned out the news came out while I was making the reservation with the hotel and this happened before I had the chance to talk to my family but I have sorted everything out and my brother helped to try and make everyone understand

Kob: For me all the problems solved itself in a good way and I am happy about it

How did you make the family understand?

Brook: I have sorted everything out and so has Kob. As for the details I will let Nong Kob tell you about it

Kob: For me I had the opportunity to go talk to Khun Mae and I apologized to her already for everything in the past and why I didn’t come out to clarify the truth about Khun Mae. And what I want to say is, everything in the past was my own fault for not clarify the truth in the beginning that there were no problems between me and Khun Mae. Before P’Brook’s monk ordination I had the opportunity of dining with the family, talk to them, shower at their house and go on vacation with them. On my birthday Khun Mae even gave me a necklace. Before the ordination we had a good relationship up until the day of the ordination. Then news came out to say Khun Mae forbid our relationship and won’t let me carry the pillow at the ceremony but the truth is I was the one who didn’t want to carry the pillow. A lot of people have told me it’s not good and not suitable so I said in that case I don’t want to carry it. However a miscommunication has occurred and Khun Mae suffered from it. The news said Khun Mae didn’t like me and tried to forbid the relationship. But the truth is, Khun Mae is not mad at me. She even asks her staff to cook for me so I could go and tum boon since she couldn’t come along because she was sick. At the time she wasn’t angry so I didn’t come out to clarify anything and that caused some negative results. Later there were more and more news and people started sending hate letters to criticize her, calling her on the phone to criticize her, to threaten her and this has a big impact on Khun Mae and her family. And the reason why I didn’t come out to clarify the news is because Khun Mae wasn’t angry and because of all this I wasn’t brave enough to go to the house and see Khun Mae and at this point we became distant. However, I have now apologized to Khun Mae and everything was all my fault for not paying attention to detail and I’m sorry to Khun Mae and she has disciplined me on how a younger person should behave”

So what happened after you apologized to Khun Mae?

Brook: Khun Mae says to please pass on the message to a particular newspaper to say she will not be going overseas andt she will definitely be coming to the wedding

What’s the dowry?

Brook: Honestly, we’re doing everything according to tradition and it’s not about how much. More about suitability, though honestly since the wedding is set on the ninth and in the 09 year. We’re going to stick to number 9 as we feel it’s a good number

Are you going to move into P’Brook’s house straightaway?

Kob: Can I not answer this yet

Brook: We’ll let you know later

What do you want to say to your fan club?

Kob: Thank you to every one for the support. From now on I want to make my life and my path as good as possible. I want everyone to understand what I said today and like I said the person who did that may or may not be my fans, could be someone who cares about me very much and did those things which impacted me in a negative way. Therefore today I have said all that I have to say and I ask that my fans please support me all the way and do good things for me. Thank you so much

Are you going to leave the industry?

Kob: I don’t want to answer this right now because after the ceremony I want to look at a lot of other aspects

Brook, how do you want to defend Kob on her pregnant before marriage rumors?

Brook: I think a lot of people who are about to get married will be subjected to this type of rumor. It’s a natural occurrence in our news but it’s not true

Kob: And I confirm one million percent. I am not pregnant one million percent. I still confirm and on this I believe time will prove the truth to everyone.

Now you guys probably don’t want to have children right after marriage

Brook: oh no I think the baby will know when the right time is

Brook: Are they going to change it for her?
